Today I have completed drafts on the computer of the newspaper front cover and two other pages included in the newspaper. From doing this next lesson I aim to write up an analyse of my newspaper drafts.

Tuesday 15th October 2013

Today i have completed all my newspaper drafts of a good standard and i have uploaded them to my blog with my billboard draft.

Friday 25th October 2013

During my free lesson, I wrote up a detailed annotation for each of my newspaper drafts and my billboard draft also.

Monday 28th October 2013

Today I have filmed a research video like an interview on a few individuals that have given me their opinions on newspaper, radio advertisements and billboards. From this I have wrote up an audience analysis and this has given me possible ideas of what my final pieces should consist of.

Tuesday 29th October 2013

Today I have wrote up the script for my radio advertisement, before hand I have done some extra research of radio advertisements as you can see through my blog as well as an detailed analysis of each example. The reason why I have done this so I have some kind of an idea of how radio ads are structure depending on its audience. From doing this before I have found it easier to write up a script for my radio ad as well as an analysis.

I went around my Sixth form taking detailed pictures as drafts that relate to my newspaper and billboard

I looked through the draft images taken and chose the best ones. After this i uploaded them onto blogger and wrote a description below the photos

In my free time i have organised my blog into specific pages of where my work should be so it is easier to find and looks well presentable.

19th November 2013

In todays lesson I have wrote up a research analysis of a newspaper billboard. The reason why i have done this is because it gives me a good idea of how i should structure my billboard.

21st November

In today's lesson I have designed a mood board for my newspaper, showing what type of actors may feature as well as props and costumes.

22nd November

Today I completed a location report and I have wrote up the purpose of me creating a mood board.

25th November

In today's lesson I wrote up a plan of what actors are going to feature in the final products and where i am going to buy the props. I have also uploaded my radio advertisement draft onto blogger.

27th November

In today's lesson I started my final radio advertisement, I made improvements to my script to make it sound more easy to understand, I also found the perfect theme song for it, I recorded the speaker of the advert and uploaded it on to adobe premier. Lesson I am to edit it and complete it.

1st December

In today’s lesson I completed my final radio advertisement. I took many samples before I choose my final piece. I also had to find the appropriate sound/jingle for the radio advertisement.

2nd December

Today I took many possible pictures that i can use in my newspaper front cover. I used fake blood to make the newspaper more eye-catching and realistic.

10th December

Today I started creating my final newspaper front cover on Photoshop. I uploaded the pictures I took the other day onto my newspaper. I have completed half of my newspaper front cover and I aim to finish it next lesson.

6th January

In this lesson I will be designing the Kidline charity logo, using Photoshop.

10th January 

In today's lesson i completed my final newspaper front cover piece and also briefly started my 2nd page of the newspaper by taking images that may feature on it.

In todays lesson I created an advert for the second page of my newspaper on photo shop. The advert is of a bank.

30th January

In todays lesson I took pictures of my school for the 3rd page of my newspaper, as the story is about schools that will be having metal detectors in them to prevent knife crime. Here is a shot below of my school I took today.

3rd Febuary

I was flicking through the guardian to find inspiration for my newspaper. I found a page where the picture of the writer and their name was above the story featured. I liked the layout and design of it, I thought it looked professional and more interesting for the reader as the story becomes more personal.



6th Febuary

In today’s lesson I decided to flick through some pages of the 'The Guardian' newspaper for inspiration. As I was looking I found a page with the writer’s picture next to the story they wrote, I thought this made more the story featured more personal and interesting. Therefore I decided to incorporate this into the 3rd page of my newspaper. After deciding this I took some images of the pretend writer and placed it on photo shop on my 3rd page.

10th Febuary

In todays lesson I finished all of media products to a high standard that I am proud of, then I added the finished products on to my blogger.

14th Febuary

In todays lesson I created a survey monkey which was distributed to my audience. The purpose of this survey was to gain constructive criticisim from my audience.

17th Febuary

In todays lesson I gathered all of my audience feedback from the survey and analysed it and found common trends, such as, most of my audience believed my newspaper to be similar to the 'Guardian' newspaer, which was my aim throughout my project.

21st Febuary

In todays lesson I wrote up my evaluation on to a word document. Then I decided to be a bit more creative with my evaluation, therefore I did question 1 on a mixbook, question 2 on a prezi, question 3 filmed and question 4 pasted onto the blog.

25th Febuary

In todays lesson as I have finished all of my media products and my evalution I decided to improve my blogger, for example making sure everything I had on there was to a good standard of quality.
